Mutant Fern

In this world, all creatures struggle to survive.  We humans very selfishly are fixed on the state of the economy, our bills, the latest fashion trends, et cetera and so one.  As we continue to consume and pollute we endanger the existence of plants and animals who really do not care about the latest fashion trends. It is silly to consider stopping our consumption of goods, we need food and goods are often necessary for our survival like the generator I purchased last winter when we lost power for five days in subzero weather.  A consideration of the packaging of the goods we purchase reduces a lot of waste.  First considering the about of packaging the food item or good has and second, can the good and the package biodegrade or be recycled, helps us to reduce the carbon foot print we leave on this earth.  I write this to more remind myself of this simple thing that we can do everyday.
If plants are to survive in this world I picture them with legs, added mobility.  This mobility would provide them with the ability to move out of polluted environments, draught filled regions, and areas where they are becoming an over consumed consumption.  My imaginary way of evening up the score for plants.
